PLAYING ARANGEMENTS

The Centre is open throughout the year, opening times vary according to the season.  During the winter season (mid Sept to mid April) the Indoor Club is open 7 days a week and you can bowl in 2 hour sessions from 10.00 a.m. up to 10.00 p.m.  In the summer season bowls sessions are currently available on Monday and Thursday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Available is a wide range of bowls from informal roll-ups with friends to competitive matches, something to suit all skill levels.  With about 600 members (350 men and 250 ladies) the Club organises friendly Inter Club matches on Tuesdays, Wednesday, Saturdays and Sunday afternoons.

During the week days Club internal leagues are planned for member teams.  Also there are regular club sessions to help you to get to know and play with current members, these are held on Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings.  The Club also schedules sessions (mostly weekends)  for the playing of Club competitions which are open to all playing members.  Any spare sessions can be booked at the Green Stewards Desk by individual members to enjoy themselves.

When you join you will be provided with an individual locker and key so you can keep your bowls and shoes safely in the Club.  We also offer *temporary membership (refundable on joining) to anyone new to the indoor game which gives them 4 taster sessions accompanied by a member coach to ensure a happy introduction to all our facilities.
